Meet the Founders

SEYMOUR E. SIEGEL

Cofounder of Siegel & Siegel, P.C.

Sy graduated from C.C.N.Y. (The College of the City of New York) where he studied Economics. He obtained his JD from Rutgers Law School in 1950. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1952 and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1958. Sy has tried over 1,000 civil jury trials in the New Jersey State and Federal Courts. He has witnessed New Jersey Tort Law and Insurance laws evolve from its infancy. Sy is a member of the American Bar Association, the ABA Insurance Tort Law Section and the New Jersey Bar Association. He has served as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and the New Jersey Superior Courts. Sy is a veteran of World War II and served for three years in the Sixteenth Cavalry in the European Theatre of Operations. He is a Vice-President of his Clearbrook Community Section in Monroe Township.

GERALD D. SIEGEL

Gerald studied Political Science and graduated with honors from Ohio University in 1975. He obtained his JD from Vermont Law School in 1978. He was admitted to the New Jersey State and the United States District Court in 1978 and was admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 2003. He is a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Gerald has been appointed to serve on the Middlesex County District Ethics Committee. Gerald serves on the Civil Lawyers Committee in Middlesex County and the Arbitration Committee in Mercer County. Gerald has been approved by the Superior Court to arbitrate personal injury cases in Middlesex and Mercer Counties. He is also retained by other attorneys in the personal injury field to mediate personal injury cases.

He served as Plainsboro Township Public Defender from 1989-1991. He has served as a Judge in the Vermont Law School Moot Court Competition and the Princeton University Mock Trial Competition. Gerald resides in Plainsboro and has coached more than 35 seasons of recreational soccer, basketball and baseball.

Gerald represents clients in all serious personal injury matters, medical malpractice cases and criminal matters.
